Our Approach to Care
Rather than set a long treatment plan, our goal is to get you out of pain and close to your goal. We’ll adjust you at your first visit and then follow up in a few days to see how your body responded and adjust again as needed. We assess your progress at each visit and schedule follow-ups accordingly. Dr. Heckes will also offer recommendations to help keep the same issues from recurring.
We offer a variety of adjusting techniques that we tailor to your specific needs. Our techniques include Diversified, low-force instrument-assisted methods, and Thompson Drop.
Gentle and Effective
Dr. Heckes always adjusts with as little pressure as is needed. He starts very gently and then, if you’re comfortable and your situation warrants it, he will increase force as needed.
Chiropractic care is an effective alternative for people looking to get out of pain. Dr. Heckes will let you know up-front if he thinks chiropractic care will work for you. If it won’t, he’ll refer you to an appropriate provider. Since chiropractic care is conservative and doesn’t involve drugs or surgery, it’s always a good choice to try first.
